CVA Foundation History The initiation of NVF restructuring came in 2014 with the amendment of the NVF Constitution. It is with the restructuring process that saw the birth of Regional Associations and most functions also got decentralised. Central Volleyball Association (CVA) was one of the first Regional Associations that was launched in 2015 together with Erongo, Far North, Kavango and Zambezi Volleyball Associations. CVA was launched on the 11th April 2015, an interim board was appointed and entrusted to take care of the association’s affairs and to draft the Constitution. The Interim Board consisted of Mr Terry Pieters – Chairperson, Mr Joseph Amakali – Vice Chairperson and other board members. On the 13th June 2015, the first ever CVA Elective Congress was held that had two events in one namely; to approve the draft Constitution and then to elect the first CVA Executive Board.

CVA has recorded a total of sixteen (16) male clubs and eleven (11) female clubs affiliated to the association over the years, with over four hundred (400) players registered.
